Hello: I've been poking around the forums for a few weeks and find the threads very informative. Ran across Frank Pellows thread on his workshop project and had him send me the CD. After 2 attempts (the USPS cracked the 1st one), I have received the CD and am amazed at the quantity and quality of information. I have just moved into a new home on 3.7 acres in Covington, WA (near Seattle) and future plans call for a 30x40 shop/garage, so I'm sure I'll put Frank's CD to good use. For now I am working out of my garage, just put together a new Bosch 4000 contractor saw w/ gravity lift :D (great for storing in the garage). Some projects I currently have on my plate are: a cherry/slate fireplace surround and cabinets, a window seat for my daughter, landscape lighting, sprinkler system, finish hooking up alarm/home automation system (ELK M1G).
In my previous house I built maple kitchen cabinets for a remodel, a large fireplace surround w/ cabinets, and an entertainment center. I'll try to dig up some old photo's and post.
Hope I can contribute a fraction of what I soak up on this great site.
Let the dust fly.

Dale

OK, now that you have posted, I can "officially" welcome you Dale.

Good to hear that the second CD made it and even better to hear that you found the contents to be of use.

Welcome Dale! Sounds like you've been a busy guy! Glad to have you aboard. This is a great forum, much knowledge and great support!

Just curious, what kind of sprinkler system are you installing? Are you doing it yourself or hiring it? Looking forward to seeing you around the Creek!

Tom:

Installing sprinkler myself. currently have 5 zones in, using a Hunter ProC controller and Toro pop-ups. The wife has plans for 8 hanging baskets around our covered porch, so I will be installing a drip/micro spray zone for them.

may I suggest post and beam ? it is like a great big piece of furniture that you get to build.
