View Full Version : Jet 10" J/P Benchtop Combo?

Just wondering what your opinions are of this machine and whether it's worth the $? I just got rid of my MM 12" J/P because of space. My plan was to go without a J/P, but now I'm thinking maybe I need at least a small one. Thoughts?

If you want a small one, buy a used Inca. They go from between $900-$1,200 on Facebook Marketplace around here.

Thanks and a nice machine, however it still takes up almost as much space as my old MM FS30. I'm looking for something smaller and lighter so it can be moved around easily.

Derek, I don't remember anyone commenting that they have one of these small Jet machines or similar from Grizzly, etc., although my memory could certainly be flawed. You may be the guinea pig for this one. It would be a good idea to buy from a vendor that has a reasonable return policy in case you find it not up to your personal requirements. Benchtop tools tend to be lighter in many ways, so actually running material through it is going to tell you if it will do the job or not.

Thanks, Richard. Those were awhile ago which likely accounts for my lack of memory. Or maybe I'm getting "more mature"... LOL
