This is Pics of my 3rd. fake pottery piece. It's a copy of Hopi potter Fanny Nampeyo.
Size is 12' D. x 7" H., turned endgrain from Sugar Maple. Acrylic paints applied
with brush & Wrico pens. Questions & comments always welcome.

Great finish work as well. I have no talent for painting; you obviously do.

OK, now you're just making me jealous. Do you transfer patterns from pieces you have seen or photographed or do you just design it on your own? If you are doing this on your own, I would suggest you take a 23-and-me test and see how much Hopi, Navajo, or Acoma blood you have, because these are just beautiful.

To answer some questions! David, I choose all my pieces from pictures of original work by Fanny Nampeyo & descendants.
She passed in 1942 but has left a legacy in her descendants which continue her work to this day. None of my
stuff is of my own design, neither basket work of fake pottery pieces.
Steve.....I have viewed a few pieces in Scottsdale Galleries when my work was in Cawley's Gallery. Very nice
and priced accordingly!
