Is there an alternative to the Whiteside UDC9112 Ultimate Trim Combination Bit? https://www.whitesiderouterbits.com/collections/ultimate-flush-trim-bits/products/udc9112

What's this brand/model of full face respirators I see in some woodworking videos please? Might find them on turners. I've seen models with what I think are two fan vent holes on the top and I think it works by forcing filtered air into the mask. I'd imagine they're not cheap.

Re: #2--Versaflo from 3M is pretty common in the turning stables, and you're right about the $$. Thanks to "going to school" on the work of a few folks on a woodturning forum, i cobbled my kit together 2 years ago--when a lot of healthcare facilities were thinning their surplus stock of the medical version (soft hood). It was a relatively inexpensive to pick up the motor/battery/hose at that time, then separately found a marred helmet. Even with shopping the pieces over a few months--i was still well over $600, but if i recall correctly the going rate at that time was around $1,100 retail. Still--cheaper than lung damage. The forced air also has a bit of a cooling effect in the hot months, a nice side benefit.

Not this particular one, but I like a hood better than a helmet. I used to use the helmet types. This one looks pretty reasonable.

One Summer I used a little 120v air conditioner for an air source. It worked great, but I had to wear a stocking hat to keep my head from getting too cold.
