Did you know that the Honey Baked Ham store sells the bones, after most of the meat has been removed by spiral slicing. Couple weeks ago, wife and I bought two, for $3.99 each. One had enough ham left on it to get us a couple meals, plus enough to make a BIG pan (half a steam tray) of Jambalaya, and then boil the rest of the bone to make Red Beans and Rice for about 30 people. Other bone was a bit larger, and currently resides in the freezer. Again, currently we are paying $3.99 each, but most likely closer to the holidays, the price will go up. Y'all eat yet?

That’s a good tip Bruce. Thanks.
Might be time for a nice bean soup!

Plenty of places ship with dry ice, but I can't imagine the cost would be worth it unless you wanted a great many ham bones.

Either pinto, or navy beans, RBR, jambalaya, ham salad, mac and cheese with ham. The options are almost endless. And cheap! Y'all eat yet?
