Baileigh Benchtop Jointer

A relative of mine is a good woodworker in the process of outfitting his shop. He is considering the Baileigh Benchtop jointer. It has an 8 inch cutterhead and a 33 inch table that can extend to 51 inches. Anybody here have any experience with this jointer in particular and/or Baileigh woodworking tools in general? Any suggestions? Would he be better off with Grizzly, Jet, Rikon, or some other brand? Thanks.

I would be extremely skeptical of extending tables. I'd also be concerned about the motor. Is it a small universal motor like on little contractor saws? The noise alone would take it out of consideration for me.
