Looking at buying some expensive tools from a fellow Creeker. Just curious if any of you have experience with these two tool, good or bad. The jointer is a beast at 1200 lbs.

Do not lift by the tables. They may snap off.

Tim, I have the planer and love it - I had a dw735 prior (still have it), it's like comparing a moped to a Harley. I have a smaller grizzly jointer and really enjoy that machine as well but the g0834 is a couple steps up from mine (g0858).
