Opinions please of Freeborn shaper cutters. I found out one of their distributors is in my neighborhood and he will be visiting the shop next tuesday.
Thanks and have a wonderful labor day weekend.

I think I have one in my collection. No problems from what I remember, happens to be one of those I don't use a lot.

I bought a beading cutter based on their good reputation and wasn’t disappointed.

While I've never owned any of there products as that kind of tooling isn't needed in my shop, I've only seen good comments about them.

I have a set for cabinet doors. Well made, work well, but they're pretty expensive. IIRC the set I have was $275.00 used. They were over $400.00 new.
You won't go wrong with the Freeborns, and when you get done with your project, they're easy to resell if you want to recoup some of your $$$. That's how I got mine.
Mine are running on a 3HP Delta shaper.

I have a cabinet door set by freeborn, I think I have a few other cutters by them too. (I don't use my shaper very often anymore)
They are a good company, good as any, IMO.

I'm not a big shaper user, but I have a couple of their raised panel sats and a few other cutters and they seem very goof to me.
