This is yet another colored aspen HF. It measures 7" dia. x 4-1/2" tall. The lid adds another 2-1/4" to the height. This piece had so much going on with it as the pictures show. I decided to get "artsey" and leave some bark, etc.. New thing for me. I'm not sure if I like the lid but the loml doe's, go figure. Deft spray and buffed. Anyway as always I'd appreciate your honest feedback.

Wow, Keith, did you buy the whole dyed forest? :p :D I really like this one and I think you did make it artsy. I think the large collar and lid are appealing. Nice job!

Keith,

That thing is absoutely beautiful and you added a lot of nice creativity. Would not surprise me to see you featured in WOW next week :D

I can't wait to get further along with this learning curve and start making pieces half that nice.

Thanks for sharing Keith.

Very nice, Kieth.

I like the way you kept some of the bark.

A lot of my customers wait until I have a piece with some in it. One guy only buys natural edged bowls with bark.

Ya know Keith, to be a good and creative turner, one must have some foresight and a very good imagination. Your turning shows you have both.

With Mike's post, I think he is running a close second.

One fine turning Keith, I like it.

Keith, 'bout the only thing I realize is that, it will be a long, lo-o-o-o-ong time before I can come up with something that dramatic! Way, way nice!:) Great job but, then again, we've kinda' come to expect that from you! :D
