I need to crosscut a 45 bevel across end grain. What is your recommended blade, crosscut, rip or maybe even a plywood x cut. Cutting 18 mm solid mesquite

Use a good sharp cross cut blade. Take care that the cut off wedge doesn't slide down the blade and jam in the throat plate blade slot.
