I'm considering purchasing a vac chuck system for my DVR. What do you guys with these think about them. Pros-Cons? Would you do it again?

This inquiring mind needs to know;) .

I would be lost without it for some kinds of projects...

Have everything to finish mine but was too busy yesterday
refreshing this forum to do it. Probably get to it next week.
Then I'll let you know.

Still dreamin' about one and when I save up enough pop cans, I'm pullin' the trigger! :D When you have the likes of the folks above here supporting it, well...Just a no-brainer!:)

I made mine on a budget. I used an old refer pump and a buddy and I turned brass fitting to fit the lathe. I have used it for over a year now and it still suck. Best thing I have made for my lathe.

I bought a Surplus Center Gast pump, the Oneway rotary adapter and kit for my Jet 1442 and made my chucks out of MDF and PVC. I'm with all of the above, best thing since sliced bread.
