Since I are one, I thought I could post this.

Question: How many retirees does it take to change a light bulb?

Answer: Only one, but it may take all day.:D ;) :)

Ohhhh...I'm not so entirely sure about that one, either! I know a few retired folks whom I'd have plenty a hard time keeping up with!!! :D

Two days here. Have to plan it out first. Think about it from all angles. Yeah, two days ought to be right.

Maybe all day -- Maybe tomorrow, if I get around to it...

I'm not retired and frankly, am having trouble envisioning ever being retired, but it often takes me much longer to change a lightbulb. See, you have to drive to the home center and evaluate all the different bulb choices...even if you have "inventory" on the shelf at home". Stopping at only one home center just doesn't cut it, and of course, that light bulb ends up being very costly because of the other things you end up with in the cart(s) as well as the meals at Chic-Fil-A, stopping at the car wash, etc. All this could very realistically take more than a day, too...

Jim - You forgot one key step. To pose the question to your buddies on SMC.

Me thinks that Cecil was really looking for guidance on how to actually change the bulb.

My uncle says being retired is waking up in the morning with nothing to do and going to bed with only half of it done.

Uh Cecil....

Since I am a recent retiree...

I have learned one imporatant factor, for that "changing of the lightbulb"

You have to be told, nagged, instructed about the consequences, and threatened with homelessness....

Or, you just aint got it down right ...just yet ... Or, is it just me???

***After all... Just cause we are retired... The Wife has to have a reason to move us, just to dust around the spot we keep standing on, or sitting around. I keep telling her, that I am saving the spot, sort of protecting it:D *** Jesse

So.. Uhh, Dennis. Should I get a 6', or an 8' step, or a painters ladder, and will a Type 3 do it, or should I just go all the way to Type 1A. :p ;)
