Rented this thing for $40 on Saturday. Best money I ever spent.

Looks like it was indeed a good solution!

hand crank so it can be laid down in a truck with no trailer unlike a scissor lift?

Looks good.

Here's another option that has worked well for me. I used it the other day to lower a drill press down from the bench. It weighs maybe 125 lbs- just in to back strain territory.

Very handy.

I'm a big fan of using lifting gear as much as possible, probably because of my age :)
I have an electric winch installed on the main beam of my shop, a front end loader and just purchased an inexpensive block and tackle to use to transfer 14 gallon fuel cans from my truck to my barn fast and efficient. Don't need any back problems to add to my list of problems these days.

I rented one to mount my cyclone motor / blower. Definitely money well spent.

We have a bunch of Genies/520s. The only problem with them is what do you use to lift them in an out of the truck? In the past ive spent more time loading jobs than working them so getting these on and off the truck at the job is probably half my current back issues.

I have the aluminum Genie lift, it’s light enough to put in a vehicle easily…….Regards, Rod
