Tomorrow, Saturday 29, 2023 Lost Art Press is having an open house.

Also, they are going to have some future classes:

https://blog.lostartpress.com/2023/07/27/scholarship-class-for-african-american-woodworkers/

At the request of readers, we have created a way for you to donate to help fund the two scholarship classes we are holding at Lost Art Press this fall.

In September, we are holding our second Chairmakers Toolbox class with six students. All students are from populations that are underrepresented in woodworking, including women, people of color and those who are gay, bi, trans or otherwise outsiders.

In November, Jerome Bias will lead a class of six African-American woodworkers as they build a blanket chest using hand tools.

To donate if interested in helping grow the woodworking community: scholarship@lostartpress.com

I have donated and will also donate tools. It will be great if the students end up with a small set of tools to get started.

Your welcome. Good pictures. For those that are interested we went to Carillon Park brewery in Dayton Ohio for lunch. The beer and food is all made by historical recipes from the mid 1800's.
