Most of my best shop lessons are expensive ones, so it makes sense to ensure that I remember them.
I made a simple mobile base for my Grizzly sander, with good, strong, locking wheels. It came out well! BUT... when I started to put the sander on it, I had forgotten to lock the wheels, and the whole thing came crashing down, fracturing its main support bracket. Grizzly is very good about parts, so for $70 or so I got a new bracket, which now has the sander back in service.
What to do with the old part (or should I say, parts)? A wall plaque seems to be a good way to remember the lesson.
