if a tree falls in a neighbours lawn will it still make a sound

Neighbour emailed me to tell me their house shook this morning. I looked out to see my 92 year old neighbour lost a limb on one of the large trees. Lucky she was not out cutting the main part on her ride on mower or cutting with the battery one.

It goes like this;
"Knock, Knock, Knock" on your front door, at zero dark thirty.
Ever notice that limbs and trees always seem to fall on the neighbor's property, in the middle of the night, on a work night? Never on a weekend.:(
