I used some of these on cross supports for a bed I built a few years back. I pulled the bed and they left a black rubber ring on a wool rug we had partially under the bed. Ugghhh!

Any suggestions of stainless version? Also any ideas on how to remove the black from the rug? Woolite lightened it, but not remove it. thanks brian

I thought there are versions with a coarse fabric bottom, almost like carpet. If you can't find them, there are round coarse fabric disks which could be attached by screw or epoxy to your rubber feet.

I found some at Woodcraft locally with a nylon foot that should work ok. Smaller footprint, but should be fine. thanks brian
