A post script to my Vizio troubles. I was having a hard time getting certain channels on You Tube TV on my Vizio. We have a sat. dish and sometimes the signal just isn't good. After tying everything suggested I took the plunge and purchased the lower cost LG.https://www.costco.com/lg-43%22-class---uq8000-series---4k-uhd-led-lcd-tv.product.100970917.html Clearly the WebOS software is superior to the Smartcast Vizio uses in my experience. I'm able to get all the channels with no buffering.

That's good to hear, Dave. It's a nice TV for the money, too. I have the larger 55" LG in our bedroom and it's been flawless, although the most recent OS update means I have to "click" more to start the news in the morning as we use AppleTV for streaming.
