Well, this is another glue up for practice. It's scrap spalted persimmon, 4 3/4" x 2 1/2". Though this is fun, I see I have a lot to learn.

That looks a lot better weed pot than the one I had 10-15 years ago:rolleyes: . I had to throw that thing away.:eek:

Hmm....the pot is nice, but I'd really like to understand how you turned those weeds to be so realistic looking!! :D :D :D

Nice-looking work, Chris. The form is well-balanced to my amateur eyes.

My first weed pot was back in the 70's. At a concert, as I recall. :cool: :p

Thanks for the comments! Well for one thing, I need to have a better plan for how I am going to end the project. By not planning better I had to do a lot of work on the bottom because I didn't leave enough room to part off. Anyway, thanks again and have a great day.

Thanks for the comments! The finish is just Friction Polish, applied with a paper towel. It's quick and does a nice job. Have a great day.
