I was thinking about getting an Iturra Catalog. He's charging $9.00 for postage. I hq=ave a Laguna 1412 bandsaw and didn't know if it would be worth the price. Too bad he isn't online.

Pay the man. Educational and entertaining.

The old catalog, which is available as a pdf online, is 240 pages. I would suspect the current one is worth the $9 price

It has been close to two years since I ordered my copy so maybe it has changed. Well worth the price just for the reading.

I agree with all of the above, it's an entertaining and informative read, and you'll be supporting a man who keeps a corner of woodworking culture alive and well. Go for it!

It's a paperback book more than a "catalog"

Can't disagree about the value of the Iturra catalog, but I think the $6 for SMC contributors is the best bargain going.

When I bought my blade tensionmeter, he sent me the catalog for free. On that note, don't buy the 3d printed version tensionmeter.

Buy something you'll need for your bandsaw eventually, like some blades or tires, and ask for the catalog. I got a copy for free when I ordered some tires and blades.

The catalog is a good way to really, really learn about bandsaws. Not just stuff for sale but lots of technical stuff. Randy
