Air Scrubber Bag Filter

I searched and came up with an older (2011) thread about cleaning the inner bag on an air scrubber. I have an older JDS Air-Tech 2000 and I know the bag can be cleaned but I'm wondering what the best way to do it is? Anyone done it and what did you find?

Trying to clean the inner filter will expose you to more dust than a month of woodworking. All of it the super fine particles that get in our blood streams. I always feel like I should be in a full head cover when I do it. Compressed air and turning it as far as I can to inside out.

Thank you Richard. I do plan on wearing my 3M Air Stream and doing it outside up wind. I just looked and was surprised I got it in 1999. Didn't think it was that long ago. I guess as long as you keep the filters clean and changed as needed it's ok. As long as the fan keeps going.
