Thanks for everyone that helped. I clamped the trigger on and let it run for about 10 minutes and the brake works again--it stops in about 5 seconds when it used to spin for 20-30 seconds after releasing the trigger. I have to credit Norman Hitt for telling me to let it run for 10 full minutes. Previously, Tod Evans had told me to run it for a few minutes, but I only let it run for 2-3. Now I have to decide what to do with it, I bought new one with a laser and I think I'm gonna keep it.
