I have accumulated two small 2-cycle gas engines which I want to re-purpose for a good home use. They are from small string trimmers that are no longer usable, but the engines (Echo and a Stihl) sill work fine. Any ideas?

Do you need to pump water anywhere?

How about running a low speed grind stone?

Hook it up to some small bicycle to ride to the mailbox? (mine is about a quarter mile round trip)

Motorized wheelbarrow?

Small digger for tilling garden soil?

Those are hard to find a use for. Motorized skateboards and scooters are what have seen.

Got an old bicycle and some free time? Lots of videos on how to mount them on a bike.

Stan, due to the emissions from small 2 cycle engines the best use would be a display case or some use where you absolutely couldn’t use an electric motor

Thanks Rod, I know they are noisy and not efficient, I am just reluctant to throw them away.

I like the pump idea. Find someone with an old hot tub free for the hauling (mine, for example) and you'll have a few good pumps.
