We went outside this evening and saw Venus and Jupiter side bay side horizontally about 30 degrees up from the horizon in the western sky.

We have an seasonally unusual clear skies tonight. On the way back from dinner we saw them. Pretty neat!

I saw them also around 7:00PM.....different looking and caught my eye. Now , I know why and what! :)

Local paper says the Sheriff's office has been getting calls from worried citizens. Probably think it is dualing spy ballons. Of course they get calls whenever there is an earthquake. Like the sheriff is supposed to do something about it.

Lee, I’ve been watching them and the mood for a while. one day in the West the slim crescent moon was right next to Jupiter (I’m guessing - I didn’t look it up), prob the closest I’ve seen it.
