I thought I'd post a pic of a few of my latest pen and bottle stopper projects.

From bottom left the stoppers are peach, olive, and pink ivory.

From bottom right the pens are ebony & maple, olive, grandillo, and pink ivory. They are the sterling silver Baron rollerball style.

The small lidded vessel is peach with an ironwood finial.

Whoa, Raymond, you don't get by that easy on the lidded container. Being a fan of boxes I insist that we be given better pictures of that fine looking little box. It looks terrific but so do the pens and stoppers.:D

Gorsh, ya'll just have to see the little vessels up close don't you? Here it is already. I'm doing a series of these. They're quick, easy, fun to turn, and don't take a lot of wood.

This one measures about 2 1/2" tall by 1" diameter at the mouth. The finial is ironwood and it's finished with spray laquer.

Thanks Ray! How do you put the finial in the top? Is a tennon turned then a hole drilled?

I'm a fan of the peach also. It's not too busy and has a very pleasing color/tone to me.

Please make more stuff from the peach and post lots of pics:D .

Raymond...I really like that form and the finial is very complimentary of the entire piece. Nice choices all around! :)
