Laguna lathe oners

I was looking at the box the board is in and noticed no gasket to keep the dust out, I plan on making one,no other problems with the lathe. 495629

Interesting, I just checked my 2436 and mine is in a fully enclosed box with only a very small hole for the cables to come out and into the head stock after a very short journey between the box and head stock.

What model lathe is yours?

The 1524, board is in plastic box, but I thought that they would spend two cents on a gasket, I'm happy with the lathe other wise.

You'll need o-rings or some kind of seal for the potentiometer shaft if you want the box dust proof.

Thanks:Dust proofing is probably a stretch, I'll do something to keep the worst out and clean with duster air now and then.I wanted to inform other owners of the over site.
