I saw that Festool's parent is making use of the Sawstop acquisition by integrating cartridges into the table saw. I know there were a few conversations about what if anything they would do. No we have the answer, Sawstop AIM in the TKS table-saw.

I have to say this CSC SYS 50 (https://www.festool.com/products/new-products/new-products/576820---csc-sys-50#Overview) looks pretty sweet. Sliding table, digital height and angle, etc. Interestingly it doesn't seem like it has the Sawstop AIM in it. Probably in the next version.

I saw a brief video of that saw in operation and that little thing is the "bee's knees" when it comes to slick operation...but it's filled with tech so that has to be considered for sure. I mean...it keeps the blade height even when the blade is tilted. That's all servo controlled. It's nice seeing an actual, real sliding table on a small saw, too.
