Congrats to Jason! The chair he made (discussed here: http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=25441) is displayed in the gallery of the March 06 issue of Woodcraft Magazine (p.52). Seems like just a couple of months ago his work was featured in FWW.

Good job Jason!

Wow!

When the book comes out, we can all say we knew him back when he was on the Creek.

It is sort of like the old song "I've become accustomed to your face". We sometimes take for granted the wonderful work that is posted on SMC. Jason has consistently posted beautiful work. The rest of the woodworking world is now beginning to see that. Always a pleasure to see his work and creative style. Way to go, Jason!!!!:D

Wow, Bill and everyone else, thanks!!! I didn't even see this post. You guys are very kind, too kind. My project just happened to be seen by AJ Hamler (editor of Woodcraft) who was lurking here and occasionally posts. It is an honor to have been tapped for this. I'm just glad AJ has such great taste - about lurking at SMC that is! He could fill the pages every month with all the original and quality pieces that come from your shops. That's for sure!

Thanks again! Now, I wonder when my copy is going to come in the mail... :p

Jason/
What are you working on now?

Actually, the shop has been pretty silent of late due to business at the church. I built a couple wine cork boards for friends, but nothing special. I did start building a built-in for our closet and I have to get started on an entertainment center as soon as possible. My honey-do list changes quite a bit from day to day so we'll see what actually gets done first :D :p
