These are being made for an esteemed member here. I took these pictures at lunch today with a makeshift booth. Need to work on the lighting aspect.

These--and one other, a stair saw--will be finished today. Then the final coats of finish tonight and in the morning, steel wooled and waxed.

Maybe this weekend I'll be able to work on taking pictures a little. I need it. Saws are easier...

First up is one of two No. 9s, one rip and one crosscut.

A half back, 17 1/2".

And all three.

Great job! Several people have posted pics of great looking saws. I would really enjoy owning one of those (and get rid of the dozuki).

cheers,

Have you considered trying to put an on etch on any of your saws? To me, the larger saws you're making are just begging for a nice logo on the blade. Just think, in a hundred years some future Galoot could be trying to uncovering the etch on a neglected saw and wondering who the heck "Wenzloff & Sons" was :D

Does this qualify?

Ok, Ok, I know it doesn't. But the blade is only 7" long ;)

But there will be. Next week, made from this Cocobolo. A pair of small saws--a different handle style than the template tracing shows though.

Does this qualify?Actually that does. Very nice stair saw, that's something I don't have and have wanted. I can use a backsaw, but the stair saw is easier to cut dados with. Do those screws/nuts use an allen wrench?

Beautiful piece of wood.

Anyone have any ideas why I can't see any of these? The only thing that shows up for me is that beautiful QS Bubinga! I have never had this happen before.

Hi Mark,

I ran into someone on another board who had trouble under two conditions--and he doesn't know which allowed him to see the pictures. One, he was using Firefox as his browser and he was using AD Blocker.

He switched to IE and shut off ad blocker at the same time and he could see them.

The reside in a folder on my server entitled /ad/ . The QS Cocobolo resides in a different folder.

Take care, Mike
