maker of antique wood carving machine

Someone, maybe British, made a complicated machine to carve fancy wood details. I think it was around 1870 or so. I can not find any references to it just modern rossete cutters. This would cut like interlocking petals on flowers in a repeating pattern etc.

Far more complicated then that, I think it has an assortment of gears and cams that can be inserted into the drive train.
