Unable to get a lumber supply for the shop....dug around through the scrap bins....to see IF there is enough to MAYBE build a small box? Just enough to keep me busy?

2 hours of shop time...today, before the area between the shoulder blades starts hurting...
First half was sorting and sizing parts....second half was chopping finger/box joints on 2 of the 4 corners...

Needed a few toys from the Toy Box...

1/4" Witherby Chisel to set the spaces,,,a knife to do a knife wall at the baseline, marking gauge...and some SHARP No. 2 Pencils...and a square or 2..

Needed to level the playing field, too...No. 5-1/4 ( No. 11 Millers Falls) then scrape it smooth with the No. 80...bandsaw to make a few cuts..

Knife the baselines...and then chop out the waste..

Use these fingers to lay out the other half of the first corner...saw, and chop...and try a dry fit, for now..

Area between the shoulder blades was getting a bit sore and crampy....this will do for the first day's work, I think..

Maybe tomorrow, I can get the other 2 corners done?

Well, a lumber run has been made....9 planks..average size is 1 x 6 x 6' in Ash...spent a whopping $20 for the pile.

So, I guess I had better get busy and finish the Leftovers Box Project, while the new arrivals get used to my shop....for about the next week?

Out of the clamps, this evening...sides and ends cleaned and straightened up....
