I have been wresting with the drill press sawdust control for years. I bought the semi-rigid tubing and rigged up a clamp on the column. It never really worked unless I held it close with one hand and lowered the spindle with the other. I spend thousands on wood, tools and hardware but could not spring for the $44 bucks for 2 feet of 2 1/2" loc-line.
Maybe because it is $44 for a few feet of tubing. I finally pulled the plug. VERY pleased!!!492402

What is the adapter with the wood collar? Does the Loc-Line stay in place while you drill, or vibrate around?

That is a 4" hose connector. The mdf ring was made on a cnc router. Yes, that thing stays in place and does not move.

Funny you posted this. I recently experienced the same thing on my drill press. They really are great adapters for this kind of thing.
