Glutton for punishment?

I think so.:eek: I cut this Hickory limb burl/knot about 1 1/2 yrs ago and threw it in the corner of the shop. Finally decided to tackle it. The outside went OK, but the partially hollow inside was a different story!:rolleyes: Even with the 1 1/4" bar on my hollowing rig, it gave me quite a pounding. I sanded the edges of the holes and voids to knock down the sharp edges. Beaten into submission at 14" tall by 7" diameter.
