Help!
I have compressor issues.
My psi drops to 0 as soon as a tool is triggered.
It's a big 80 gal Saylor Beall. There's a filter and a regulator in line right out of the tank.

Does the motor run to recharge the tank then? Or does the meter slowly regain pressure without the compressor motor running?

Thanks, Ken.
It regains pressure without the motor running, and immediately.
Could it be a bad filter or regulator?
Weird symptoms...

Try a different hose, then try a different regulator. Seems like something is caught somewhere and airflow causes it to jam up.

Filter may be really dirty

Where are you measuring psi? Is that gauge good. Any quick connects.
When it reads zero dump the tank drain and/or pressure relief to see if tank has pressure or not.

Which comes first, the filter or the regulator? Is the gauge mounted on the regulator?

My money goes on a stopped up filter.

My compressor has 2 gauges, one shows tank pressure and the other shows regulator output pressure. How many gauges does your compressor have?

If you guessed filter...ding ding ding!!!
Replaced with a new one and all better.
Thanks, Creekers!
