Hi folks,
You sure do great turnings. Haven't been able to comment on all of them, but I see them and they are great. Back from out of town and turned my 4th piece. Even the practice is fun on this thing. I'm learning a little more with each piece. Man, I can make a ripple where I don't want it just by breathing wrong, ha. Anyway it's a mallet made of hard maple with a walnut end piece. This camera phone is not as clear as it should be. Have a blessed day.

Chris,

That is a great job on the mallet. I have been wanting to do one and have not got up the courage yet, but know what? After seeing yours, I think I'll try one when I get home tonight

Nice job and thanks for sharing.

I usually put a bigger head on my mallets, mostly because my aim stinks.

Nice job, Chris

Good looking mallet. I'd never use it though as it looks to good:)

Very Nice Chris! I guess I better throw my mallets away and start making my own. That is just too cool.

Everytime I think about making a mallet, a thought creeps into my mind that it would be another weapon for my wife to use against me:eek: .

Very nice Chris. I guess I need to go back to the drawing board as I like your mallet better than mine.

More and bigger hammers. I'll just beat that wood into "round" submission.:)
