FS - Veritas Medium Shoulder Plane with O1 blade

Comes with box and paperwork, in excellent condition. The plane with the O1 blade is presently out of stock at Lee Valley. The notation says it is expected back in stock on December 19, but apparently from threads on SMC that is far from reliable. Retail is $229 if and when back in stock if that price holds.

Just noticed in the pics that the underside of the blade and the sole look odd. I had just wiped them down with oil and apparently it reflected the light oddly. Both are in excellent shape.

I have this plane. It's amazing. The moment I picked it up the first time, my second finger naturally slid into the hole above the blade as the crook of my thumb and index finger wrapped around the movable brass knob at the top as they grabbed the body. It is an absolute joy to use.

And having bought at least two of John's draw knives, he is a joy to work with too. :)
