I really hate to ask this but I can't figure out what size MT that my Ridgid lathe uses. I want to buy a drill chuck, but don't know if I need a number 1, 2. or 3 MT.
I can't find any reference to it in the manual. Can I mic it and tell?

Don,
The rigid single tube lathe has a #1 morse taper. Sears has the best prices on this stuff new, in my experience.
Might want to try ebay.
Spindle thread is 3/4 x 16
Hope this helps!
Angelo
