I need to replace my table saw I sold last year when I moved. It was a grizzly 1023. I was happy with it for the most part. Dust collection was very poor I thought. Should have just kept it but space was limited. I see theses south bends on the Grizzly site and like the idea of the wixley read out. I was going to install one on the last saw but the south bend comes with one. Just seeing if any one has one and how they like it.
thanks

I have the Wixey for the tablesaw fence. It's great. Easily accurate to .1mm. Worth every penny.

The resolution and the accuracy on these digital readouts is not the same. There is too much difference in what you read on the screen and the actual measurement accuracy for tight tolerances, IMO
Resolution:
Decimal
= .005 in.
Fraction
= 1/32 in.
Metric
= .1 mm
Accuracy:
Decimal
= +/- .002 in. per foot
Fraction
= +/- 1/500 in. per foot
Metric
= +/- .13 mm

It looks like the South Bend table saws are exact same as the standard Grizzly table saws, but with DROs and slightly nicer tooling (miter gauge, fence handle)
