Hi all -

I have been using 3M Xtract Cubitron II on my festool random orbital sander and it works great. However I am really tired of my 1/4 sheet sander that vibrates the entire world when it's running so I am getting an RTS400 which uses 80x133 paper. Of course 3M doesn't makes an 80x133, however they do make an 80x10 meter roll that you cut to length.

I am looking at 3 options and wonder if anyone's had good luck using them over Festool's paper:

- 3M Cubitron II Net Sheet Roll
- Klingspor STEARATE 80x133 sheets
- POWERTEC 80x133 sheets (concerned about reviews that it's cheap paper)

Thanks

Justin

I've tried all of those and many more and found Mirka Abranet Ace to be noticeably better for longevity and finish quality, yet I do use Festool Granat for more heavy-duty sanding / grinding.

I can second that Jonathan and for the same reasons / applications. I keep 120 and lower in Granat and 150 grit and higher in Mirka Abranet for my 150 mm Festool sanders.
