For those that do not want to spend the $$ it takes to buy a Lie Nielsen No. 3 (which is not even available at this time) or take the time and have the skills to properly restore and fettle a vintage plane and hope to get it right, the WoodRiver planes are about as good as it gets in my opinion. While not new, this one is in excellent shape, with really beautiful wood in the tote and knob.
