As promised, here are the pics of my newly acquired jointer. Purchased it locally from an Indy race car driver who is very much into woodworking. Haven't gotten his permission to mention his name though. Hopefully he'll come by to autograph it for me and have my picture taken with him as he signs it. He's a super nice fellow to boot. He purchased the jointer from Woodworkers Emporium, got it home, assembled it, ran a few boards through it, and then decided it was too small. Unfortunately for him, the store couldn't take it back for a full refund since it was already operated. The owner of the store had it stored in his attached wood shop. So basically it is a new $1600 jointer that I paid $1100 for, it included the Jet (I think) mobile base, and a dust collector duct.
Like I mentioned in a previous post (DJ-20 110V wiring change), it still had the protective coating on it. Just cleaned it up yesterday and snaped a few before and after pictures. Hopefully I'll do this picture posting correctly (it's my first time posting pics)
Here goes:

Retail asking price (he likely payed less since he had multiple purchases)

Sorry if the last pic isn't as clear as the others
As you may be able to tell, there are areas where paint is missing, and some staining on the fence is visable. Unfortunately there is some staining on the tables too, but of course--is doesn't affect the operation.
A question I posted may have gotten burried in the last post, so here it is again:
I noticed that the drive belt flutters while it is running (obviously). How much flutter should I expect? The machine was sitting idle for months so that may have something to do with it. That's just a WAG on my part though. Any input on this issue?
Thanks for looking.
Take care, Ed
