Screen doesn’t rotate

I use my iphone12 and suddenly my screen doesn’t rotate when I turn the phone. It only seems to happen on SMC. Has always worked until today. Any idea?

Swipe down on the upper right corner. That will bring up the quick menu, or whatever it's called. There is a button with a mostly complete circle with an arrow on the line around a lock icon. Click that to unlock rotation. I'm not sure what triggers it sometimes.

Tried that. It shows unlocked but I cycled it anyway. No change. It only happens on sawmill creek which is odd.

Like any other computer, when in doubt, reboot.
