Looking for an escutcheon/backing plate to match this one

Hello all:

I am doing a restoration and I need to find a backing plate that closely resembles this 2.5” round one with a lion on it. It does not have to be a perfect match- just close enough. I might even take a round one without the lion, but would prefer the lion. Will pay fair value plus shipping. Thank you.

So, I went with your idea and made a resin cast and painted it to match. The customer couldn’t tell which was which. Thanks again for the idea.

Brilliant!!

Since wood window sills only last a couple of hundred years even with the best of wood they had back then, I cast new ones out of concrete after making a mold off of freshly aged wood.
