I haven't been on a rust hunt for some time and there was an estate sale around the corner. Among all the stuff was a stack of #2 (12" Jaw) Jorgensen handscrew clamps in fine working order. The light patina will match nicely with my others. At $20 for six it was a no brainer.

They look well used, but there is still a lot of life left in them.

Yup, they have a few miles on them, but they still squeeze real good.....

Rob,

Even if those clamps look like they have been rode hard, they were a steal at that price. Good Job! From your post, it sounds like they still have a lot of life in them though. I think that as long as they can still do the job well, it doesn't matter much what they look like.

Our Son lived in Chicago for a few years. When we would visit we got around town on bicycles and often rode Armor St. He did not understand my whooping and air punching as we cruised past The Adjustable Clamp Company. He started getting more interested in woodworking during those years. Ge gets it now and carries on with the whoops even though it is looking sad around there. I recently sent him his little orange Pony vice that was on his kiddy workbench that was equipped with small, real tools.
