hardipanel to foam - which adhesive?

i am going to make some doors for my shed, and i think i'm going to laminate some 2" foam with hardipanel cement board. i'll do it in my vacuum press to keep everything flat.

any idea on which glue to use? my gut feel is urea resin, but i'm open to suggestions. thanks!

Do you know which kind of foam? Polyester resin contains styrene monomers which dissolve styrofoam, as an example of an adhesive/foam combo destined for failure....

Polystyrene, Many adhesives are not compatible. The instructions always indicate.

I recently made a number of torsion box platforms for our church. I used polyurethane glue to attach the plywood skins to the outer frame and foam cores. I even glued up scrap foam to make larger pieces with the poly glue and the joints were stronger than the foam.

Hoe despot is about 50% higher then lowes for polyiso insulation.

I think all the foam prices went up with petroleum so it pays to check online before buying.

FYI, I'm finding foam much cheaper at the local industrial supply houses, ours is Stan Houston, but I'm sure there are similar companies everywhere. Look for the companies that sell concrete supplies. $23/sheet of 2" OC pink, vs $50 at HD and $44.48.
