Source for Mirka abranet strips for drum sanders and reviews from anyone using this

I am looking for sources for the Mirka mesh strips to use on my drum sander. Also need a source for the velcro backing to attach to my drums to hold this in place. Very curious how this mesh works on a drum sander as well.

I've looked as well for Abranet strips, if you can get Abranet ACE or Abranet HD, lasts much longer than standard. For the velcro, I use 3m adhesive backed hooked sheets, with great luck. I think I got them from Klingspor's www.woodworkingshop.com

They don't sell strips, but they do sell rolls. Mirka on-line has it and maybe even Lee Valley.

I recently converted my Supermax. I used some 2.5 velcro on a roll from Amazon. You have to figure out the length.. I ordered the Mirka Heavy Duty from Mirka. It works great and the drum only has to touch the stock lightly to be effective.

Before you order rolls of abrasives, make sure that the width of the roll will match the drum on your sander. I was going to convert my Peformax 16-32 to Abranet a few years ago and found that proper length of the strip didn't match the taper on the end.
