drill double holes with dowel jig

i know this might sound crazy,,,but i have a self centering doweling jig and it does a great job at doweling when you line the mark up to the wood,,,but i was wanting to drill 2 holes since it came with 2 bushings,,,kinda like the spindle dowler like you can buy at grizzly,,,my only problem is it comes with the marks on the doweling jig for each hole,,,but if you were going to use both holes shouldnt it have a line in between each hole also,,,

Not sure which jig you're using but it shouldn't be difficult to scribe a line on the tool. Or just use the 1st hole to line everything up.
