SICAR META 950 Widebelt

Hi All- Im a 3 man small cabinet shop and am looking at a wide belt sander for the first time- new shop with a lot more room! There is a used SICAR META 950 widebelt from 2002 for sale locally for $750...yes $750. In solid working condition with no issues. Any reason I wouldn't?

Don't know anything about that sander
HOWEVER, it would be in my shop before I posted anything about it online as long as it is as described
I have a 15" wide belt, bought well used for twice that price and will only part with it when a larger one is in my shop

Sicar makes good workmanlike machines. That sander sells used for $7-$10,000 in Europe.

The worst that happens is it breaks in a few months and you get your money back just in scrap metal.
