Well, I've found out that this live dyed aspen is pretty cool. It turns easily but requires a lot of sanding. However because it is so soft it sands quickly. This one started out as a HF but changed it's mind to be a bowl. It is 7-3/4" dia. x 2-3/4" tall. Spray deft and beall buffed finish. Thanks for looking.

Looks thin and beautiful, Keith. Nicely done!:D My hollow forms would not end up as a bowl. More than likely they would end up as firewood....:o

These are so cool, Keith. Thanks.

Yup - I have a lot of HFs make that command decision on me too.

Really neat Keith. I think I will take a walk in the woods this spring and water some trees with ink.

Looks like "Purple Haze" got into the wood:eek::eek: Those beetles must be eating mushrooms before they go into the wood(s) for their little troubles.;)

Very nice bowl!!

Man! I really love that wood Keith! The bowl is wonderful. Your wall thickness is great too. Do you have any trouble with warping after the fact?

As the wood is dry I have not had any warping problems (yet anyway).

Thanks all for your kind comments:) :)
