Anyone on 'da creek own a Disston No 7 backsaw? It's the same as the No 4, but has a polished steel back on it. I don't think I've seen one of these and would love to see a pick if anyone owns one. I've seen several No 5s, although I don't own one, and they seem to be more popular in the U.K. Seems that Disston must have used the No 5 to compete with the Brits on their own turf (my own speculation).
